You have multiple ways to set up employees for your business. While you can create one employee and the details at a time manually, you can also set up multiple employee records by importing from RPN or the employee excel sheet. This topic gives the steps to set up multiple employee records for both new and existing businesses by RPN import or the employee excel sheet import. New Business
RPN Import
To import employees from the RPN, complete the following steps. As a prerequisite, you need to upload the ROS certificate first by going to the Settings > Business Details page.
- On the left panel, click Employees > Employees.
- On the SETUP EMPLOYEES page, click Create Employees from RPN.T
- The CREATE EMPLOYEES FROM RPN page appears. Choose the employees you want to import and leave out duplicate records. You may also choose to import all employees by ticking All. Enter the email and payroll start date.
- To import, click Import.
- To verify, on the left panel, click Employees > Employees. You can also import other employees later.
Template Import
To import employees from the employee excel sheet, complete the following steps.
- On the left panel, click Employees > Employees.
- The SETUP EMPLOYEES page appears. Click Import Employees.
- The Import Employees window appears. It gives important information, the employee template download link and the import button. Click the Template link. The template is downloaded to your local disk.
- Enter all required data in the template. The mandatory fields are coloured in red.
- On the Import Employees window, click Choose File and select the template from its location. Click Import.
- The employees are imported successfully.
Existing Business
RPN Import
To import from RPN, complete the following steps.
- On the SETTINGS page, under the RPN heading, click Create Employees From RPN.
- The CREATE EMPLOYEES FROM RPN page appears. Choose the employees you want to import and leave out duplicate records. You may also choose to import all employees by ticking All. Enter the email and payroll start date.
- To import, click Import.
- To verify, on the left panel, click Employees > Employees. You can also import other employees later.
Template Import
