Before 2019, you could manually set up or import employee records from the P2C. Even after importing, you could manually set up or edit certain details. From 2019 onwards, all employee records must be set up manually and they should match those with the Revenue.
You can not only view employee details but also perform certain actions. However, the details you can view and the actions you could perform are different in 2019 and before 2019. This topic explains the details and actions for both 2019 and pre-2019.
2018
- View the list of employee records under the Business.
- On the Employees page, click the down arrow corresponding to the required record and from the inline menu, click Open.
You can sort columns in the ascending or descending order. To sort, click on the column name.
- The Employee Details page appears. On the Employee Details page, click the required tabs and view the employee information.
Optional Actions
If the employment start date is in the current year, you can generate and download the P45 Part 3 or P46 document for this employee from the Employee Details page. To generate, complete the following steps.
Generating and Downloading P45 P3:
- On the Employee Details window, click P45 Part 3.
- In the P45 P3 window, enter the previous Business registration number and employment end date with the previous Business and click Prepare ROS File. The P45 Part 3 is generated and downloaded to your computer.
Generating and Downloading P46:
- On the Employee Details page, click P46.
- On the window, click Prepare ROS File. The P46 is generated and downloaded to your computer.
2019 Onwards
- View the list of employee records under the Business.
- On the Employees page, click the down arrow corresponding to the required record and from the inline menu, click Open.
